Ella was rescued after a neighbour saw her first owner hitting her and chasing her with a broom for absolutely no reason at all! Ella was running scared from the woman and the neighbour filmed that and decided to intervene to get Ella away from the unkind lady.

The woman who rescued her isn’t in a position to keep her at her home but she has put her into a boarding place pending her adoption.  Unfortunately there are no other animals there but Ella has been dog tested with a street dog and was very excited and friendly to meet another dog.

So we think she could live with other dogs after sensible introductions.  She just wanted to play after being in isolation from dogs for such a long time.

She is now cat tested and was good, just wanted to play and the cats were unimpressed. She was gentle and respectful though. She is not child tested but seems really sweet and friendly so again we are pretty sure this could be worked towards with the right management and precautions in place.

She loves people and her rescuer describes her as the nicest dog ever, despite the abuse she suffered.  Ella is spayed and microchipped and weighs only 5kg.
