Leo was rescued from a rubbish bin when he was 5 months and treated for Parvo.
Weight: 40KG
– He used to have separation anxiety but it’s much much better now. However after rehoming his new adopters should expect this to return. He will need people around all the time.
Temperament details:
– Leo is a long-haired German Shephard with a heart of Gold. He is incredibly gentle, sweet and kind-hearted. His sensitivity shines through in every interaction as he is good with kids, cats and dogs. Leo did not have a good start in life, abandoned by his first owner he has his struggles with some separation anxiety.
Nevertheless, he cherishes human companionship and will snuggle up with you and offer affection and life long friendship if given a chance. He is a gentle giant and a very big, leggy, playful boy.
Fun fact: Leo loves to snack on cucumbers and carrots!🤎🤎🤎
Leo’s rescuer will pay half his ticket to Heathrow. His adopters must pay the other half.
His rescuers want to stay in touch and get regular updates.
He is dog friendly and lives with another dog currently.
Type of Home Needed
A loving home, happy to adopt a dog who will need time to adjust and find his feet. Someone who can be around all the time for him in case his separation issues come back after rehoming.
